First Friday Classes in Studio 9
Fiber Art classes for you to enjoy on the first Friday of each month. I’m offering some morning sessions for early birds and afternoon sessions which are timed to let you enjoy First Friday events at the Foundry Art Centre.
Custom Workshop experiences for Groups or Individuals — workshops can be scheduled for a individuals or groups on an arranged date by contacting me .
Cancelation policy: Refunds can be provided up to 2 weeks before the class for any reason. If I cancel a workshop due to illness or bad weather, 100% of fees will be returned.

FELT 101--WET FELTING FOR BEGINNERS

Are you interested in learning about making felt but not sure how to get started? I will give you an introduction to all the tools and techniques so you can see all the infinite possibilities that felt making offers. Then you will make a small piece of felt in colors that you choose. This class includes use of all the tools and wool in my studio so you don’t need to invest in felt making equipment before you give it a try.
$40 includes all materials + snacks.
SMALL FELTED VESSELS

Learn how to make a delightful small felted bowl to store your trinkets or favorite plant. You will learn how to shape wool around a resist, add embellishments and finally shape your little bowl in your hands. This class finishes just in time to enjoy First Friday events at the Foundry and maybe even dinner on Main Street.. $60. includes all materials + snacks. Nuno Felt Scarves

Make a beautiful art-to-wear scarf. This class is great for beginner felters or intermediate felters wanting to learn a new skill. We will learn how to combine silk fabric and fine wool merino to make a fun texture scarf that you will enjoy wearing or giving.
